I purchased a carpet and lino for the entire house from United Carpets and they promised me it would all be fitted in 2 days. It has now been nearly 2 weeks and my hallway, stairs and landing are still not carpeted. Because the hallway, stairs and landing have no carpetting, dirt is being picked up and sticking on the new carpet. On the day of purchase (9th April), they claimed they had enough to carpet the entire house, however, on the day they came to fit i (15th April), they claimed they never had enough to carpet the hallway, stairs and landing and that they would have to import the carpet from Belgium. It\'s now been nearly 2 weeks and I still do not have my carpet, and the salesman who sold it to me keeps changing the date as to when the carpet will arrive from Belgium, initially saying it\'ll arrive the following Monday, then saying it\'ll arrive the following week, then saying it takes 5-10 days to arrive. I am now left with no clear date as to when the carpet will be fitted and the sales agent isn\'t doing anything to deal with my problem....
